This is Jackie Ruth’s original tiny house on wheels…
Originally, this was posted to help her sell her amazing little cabin on wheels. But it has since sold. It was such a great deal!
Years later, it’s on the market again. You can learn about that right here.
Right now I’m showing you an amazing deal of a tiny house for sale in the Ozarks of South Central Missouri. It’s my friend Jackie’s tiny home that she’s had for many years.
She used to live in it in the Florida Keys. It has since then been moved to the Ozarks. And now that Jackie has her own slightly larger cabin, and her son no longer uses it, she’s selling it.
And in my opinion, this might be one of the best tiny house deals I’ve ever seen. It’s truly an ‘unknown’ classic tiny house that has been around before the tiny house movement ever really took off.
It must be moved so you’ll want to bring your own flatbed and plenty of jacks to go pick it up. It was once on a trailer before, but it now sits on blocks.

The open space you see in the kitchen is where the refrigerator goes but it has since been removed. You can put your own in later or use it for whatever else you might want.

Pretty cool (and simple) storage solution in the cabinets and tiled countertops.

Above is a space for a microwave which has been removed.

Two burner range stove top can fit here (above).

Lots of space for storage throughout the tiny cabin. 🙂

Below is the closet area which is usable but unfinished.

Flat screen TV is included in the sale.

Insulation was added when Jackie moved from Florida. You can finish it by covering the insulation with your favorite material.

New A/C was added last summer.

Pine ceiling ‘downstairs’ 🙂

Outdoor shower:

Towel racks:

Micro storage shed:

This is where the refrigerator, etc. goes too since it connects to the kitchen area.

Alex, thank you for posting this. This building just goes to show how far the tiny home design has come along in the years since this house was built. A fun step back in time that will make a wonderful home for someone.
I AM TRYING SO HARD TO GET A LOAN TO GET THIS HOUSE!
Hi Abby, try Prosper.com to get a loan for it. Doesn’t work in every state, but if it does in yours, might be a good option. And there are lots of lenders.
Abby, you can call me and we can discuss a possible loan. Reach me on 8onethree-3six1-four3two2. Jeff
I didn’t see a bathroom?
Nice starter unit, especially for someone on a strict budget. I think this will sell fast. Cute design, looks a lot like a small cottage on the outside. And of course it being on a trailer is a real plus. Thanks for posting this.
Roger, read the article again , it WAS on a trailer now on blocks.
I would strongly encourage anyone who purchases this house to enclose the fiberglass insulation. Fiberglass is NOT something you want to be breathing – especially when you are deep breathing in your sleep.
I feel this is a great deal! I paid 4 thousand for my 1971 Park Model Camper 13.5 years ago.
Hope it does have a decent bathroom.
I saw the shower is outside but what about the shit place? Does it have a flushing system inside?
I am interested in the trailer she used to move it and how it was attached to the structure during transport. Does she have any pictures of sliding in on and off the trailer? What were the dimensions of the trailer, etc.?
i am very interested in this house and could be prepared for pick up and payment almost immediately. If there has not been a sale so far i am definitely willing to close the deal. I can be reached at 602 448 4160 and at my email [email protected] for more information and where to go from here.
