Family of 3 Built a Tiny House for Travel

This post contains affiliate links.

Hannah and Greg built a tiny house “fortress” that’s welded together to make it lightweight and incredibly durable! They traveled the country with their daughter for a year before parking the home on her mother’s property in Florida. With the savings, they can continue to travel internationally and return to their tiny home base.

The house has a loft bedroom accessible via a storage staircase. The living room has a couch and one office, and there’s a second office area upstairs for their work-from-home jobs. They prioritized a coffee station, large shower, and pull-out pantry in this awesome DIY build!

  • Hanna and Greg had started their own business and were no longer tied down to their home.
  • Tiny living provided an opportunity to tour the country, and was the springboard for them traveling to all seven continents!
  • They welded the entire house together in order to make it light and incredibly safe.
  • In the loft there’s both the queen-sized bed, and a cool “dip” in the floor to make a comfortable spot for working from home.
  • The bathroom is remarkably spacious for such a small home, and all three of them can squeeze in simultaneously.
