Good looking on outside and in! Very clean lines. At only 20′, a good use of space and yet still leaves the future buyer room to add/ change and customize. I really like this one… Nicely done!
(Look at the “shell” from late 2016 and see what quality went into the build)
I love this but very little storage….
Only one problem……..that air conditioner on the floor is NOT going to cool properly. Heat rises – so it needs to be at least normal window height or higher – and vents pointing upward – to cool the HOT upper air, making it fall as it cools, thereby creating circulating cool air.
I totally agree with the a/c needs to go away and a mini split instead. Would be great with a stove and oven. It does look great but needs some usage changes.
I would definitely have put in at least a narrow apartment stove, as it has 4 burners. But even if someone did not cook often – rather than put the little two burner sideways – and I would turn it so it would only take up the width of one burner.
I know I’m starting to sound like a broken record, But WHERE ARE THE CLOSETS? Doesn’t anyone hang their clothes up anymore? Just about everything else about this little place seems fine.. It has a nice lay out and curb appeal. I would change the entrance door with more of a solid wood instead of all that glass. for more privacy and security reasons..
Hey Dominick Bundy, it seems this builder is leaving most of the storage up to whoever buys the unit from him…
There is the couch/bench storage, stair shelving, loft alcove shelving, and a few other storage spots around the house but it looks like there’s just no dedicated built ins…
You can just get a armoire, dresser, wardrobe, etc. Or just hang a hanging bar along the side of the loft… It’ll just eat away at the available free space more than built ins would have…
House could be modified as well, but for the asking price I’m overall agreeing with you on this one…
It doesn’t help that there are design flaws like the one Beverly pointed out with the AC…
It’s nicely built, will probably last a long time, and all that gives it good curb appeal but it could have been better designed and is missing just enough to validly question the worth at the asking price…
It may serve well as a rental property or guest house but still needs work if anyone plans on living in it full time…
The bowl sink in the bathroom doesn’t have a faucet. What’s up with that?
It’s either a photo taken before the bathroom was fully finished, or it’s just a wash basin… Board left below the seems to suggest unfinished but may be just an example of the cost cutting done in some places of the build…
Like the AC unit instead of Mini-Split is another example where there was apparently some cost cutting…
Not sure about some bits – some have been mentioned but that fixed shelf above the toilet – it might just be the angle of the photo but that’d be very awkward to get your hands/new parts in if something broke. It is a nice spacious feeling house though.
