Christian and Kelsie sold their brick-and-mortar home so they could transform a school bus into a home on wheels! And they did an awesome job with the conversion, including a classy L-shaped kitchen, queen-sized bed, and spacious shower stall with a skylight into their creative layout.
The couple married young — at 19 and 21 — and have made their dreams come true! They pick up odd jobs, and she works remotely as an online tutor so that they can enjoy this lifestyle. Let us know which feature of their school bus conversion you love most!

VIDEO: Transforming a School Bus into a Dream Tiny Home on Wheels
Highlights:
- Christian and Kelsie sold their home so they could travel in their skoolie.
- Including the cost of the bus, they spent about $55,000 on the conversion.
- The couple did all the work themselves! And the result is gorgeous.
- They chose a queen-sized bed for ultimate comfort in the back of the bus.
- Since they’d heard other nomadic folks say they wished they had a dinette, they made sure to include one in their bus design.
- Comfort was key in the design, and they really made that happen!
