If you’ve ever thought about purchasing a home from ESCAPE, you should book a stay in this ESCAPE-built tiny house that sits in a woodland clearing in the Catskills.
The interior is very true-to-ESCAPE, without much embellishment, and therefore stunning. Personally I love the catwalk that connects the two lofts. That makes it easy for a family to have a vacation there and still have access to the kids. I really love the serenity one must feel staying here inside a forest, Wow! Of course this Escape is beautiful as is! All of it! Thanks for sharing, at my age of 83, I need to stay kind of right where I am. Anyone would enjoy this escape! 🙂
Perfect vacation spot! Love this one.
Lovely house! Beautifully done! I would love to stay there for a quiet visit. My comment/question is about the strange looking mountain (second photo) above the garden of the house and up above it’s fringe of forest. The mountains have no trees and appear to have been terraced and covered in grass. What’s going on there? Former agriculture maybe? I live in Arkansas and have never seen a mountain or hill like that in my home state. Please explain. These comments/questions are respectfully submitted.
It’s natural, most of the area is protected as a nature preserve, just the difference in the geology and climate of the area. You can look up how the Catskill Mountains are more a dissected plateau than a series of mountain ranges and what causes balds, the thick vegetation without tree areas…
I am amazed at the layout of this tiny house. Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It also would be fantastic for an all-year-round living too.
Great job!
I love this site. However, what I’m looking for is small house. I signed up for it, but rarely get anything from them. Need home with large kitchen/living room, full bath & 3 good sized BR. Is it possible that somehow they’ve lost me?
Already have land, permits, etc don’t seem to be a problem.
Hi Linda, I will work on finding more small homes. They aren’t quite as popular these days, so I have a harder time finding good content to share!
Yes, I do get your daily news, thanks
