Tiny Modern Apartment in South Korea

A few months ago I moved to a new, bigger apartment in Seoul! This apartment is about twice as big as my previous one, at 10 “pyeong”, which is about 33m2/355sqft. This room has a glass partition that separates the “bedroom” area from the “living” area. I love it because it lets in a lot of light, but still creates the feeling of separate rooms.

Nice. I want to know the maker of that cat climber in the bedroom! Have never seen one like that in the states.
Where do the stairs go? Or are those just shelves on a pole?
Haha…those aren’t stairs. It is a cat climber. A very cool one too!
Probably cat platforms for kitty to enjoy the view.
The “stairs” are actually a repurposed shelf, used for a cat tower. The pics are captioned over on Imgur.

A lot better than I imagined for a South Korean residence…! The 32nd parallel is surely looking brighter, even with that psychotic Kim Jong-un only hundreds of yards to the north… LoL…!

What is the white rectangle between the toilet seat and lid?

I think this would make a good student apartment or an apartment for a couple that is saving for something else. It is so austere it says to me that these folks have nothing else in their lives other than working for someone else their whole lives. It’s a sad commentary on the world as we have made it.
