This is the story of Austin Smith and his 1953 GMC Fire Truck Tiny House.
He’s a pro snowboarder who turned the fire truck into a house truck! His brother originally got on eBay for $5,000 but wasn’t doing anything with it. So naturally, this is what happened. Enjoy!

This is very cool. For being a bachelor and a snowboarder he seems to be on top of the world. The Japan video made me dizzy. Straight down. He did pretty good building it. It works and that is all that a person wants. Clever guest bed. Love how he said he had it made 2″ lol! Enjoyed this video.
Thanks, Sheila, glad you enjoyed it too. I think it’s perfect for him. The worst part is that he has to fill up gas every 25 miles (I don’t think he was exaggerating either)… Yikes! I wouldn’t move it very often 😀
Pretty nice but would hate to shovel snow off the roof.
Carolyn, He’s a Snow Boarder, A Pro One, He lives for that stuff!!! I bet He’d be disappointed If he didn’t have to go up there every week or so!!!
😉

Haha, true!
My favorite thing about this tiny house is how he made it for himself and for his passion… Snowboarding!
If you built a tiny house, how could it serve you in your purpose or passion?
Notice, too, how he even sets himself up to be in a place where he is naturally encouraged (by his environment) to do his one thing (snowboarding).
