Incredible Micro House Built on Tiny Japanese Truck

Here’s another amazing micro house build on a Japanese truck bed! While I don’t know the exact measurements of this truck, many Suzuki truck beds are 6.5 x 4.5 feet, meaning this micro house is around just 30 square feet — now that’s tiny.

Below, you can watch a time-lapse of the entire build, or skip to the last 10 minutes to see most of the finished product. The home is solar-powered and has running water, a fan, and a built-in countertop/eating area. There’s even a mini stove to make rice on.

  • Witness the creation of a 30 sq. ft. micro house on a Japanese truck bed.
  • Explore its solar-powered, fully equipped interior with running water and a mini stove.

I love it! excellent craftsmanship in building this little camper! I would just like to know where he sleeps. Is there a fold up bed in there?

MIND. BLOWN. Wow! I hope people take the time to watch the video. Absolutely fascinating! Unbelievable attention to detail and precise workmanship in addition to such clever design. Just when you think there can’t be any more amazing details, there’s yet another one. Just beautiful! And ingenious! And beyond the artistry of the build, there is more counter space in this micro mini Tiny than in most builds that are four or five times the size…or more! I don’t know how long this build took but I was so fascinated with the video, I forgot to eat breakfast! Watch and be amazed! My only wish would be to have subtitles in English but that is such a minor consideration, really. WATCH! I have never been more impressed with both the build and the video.

This clever and beautiful way to have some personal and private space in a crowded country like Japan is so valuable! I know there isn’t much storage but I hope people don’t diminish their appreciation of what was accomplished here because it doesn’t match their own needs. This is luxurious by Japanese standards and many would love to have this much space. I couldn’t live in it but what a wonderful retreat it would be here in America. I love that truck, too!!!

Absolutely amazing! I was blown away by the attention to detail and the meticulous workmanship. It helps not to have to deal with tire fenders inside the truck bed. I love those little trucks! I love the tiny house! It’s all so incredible. Glad I watched the whole video.
