Gossett Family School Bus Conversion with Roof Raise

The Gossett family lives and travels in their converted school bus with a raised roofand it might be one of the best family-centered conversions we’ve ever seen! They prioritized giving everyone their own private space and created a great bedroom for their girls with twin-sized bunk beds, a two-person desk, and ample storage drawers.

Mom loves things tidy, and she made sure everything has a place in this home! From the perfect pantry in the kitchen to the immaculate linen closet in the bathroom, there’s nothing out of place! What do you think of this bus home?

VIDEO: Family’s Raised Roof School Bus Tiny Home

Highlights:

  • This couple has four children, but when their older twin sons moved out, they knew they were tired of the “usual” life.
  • They found a bus with the engine they wanted, already gutted and with the roof raised. Then they proceeded with the remaining renovations.
  • The girls’ room has twin-sized bunks, huge storage drawers, a two-person desk, and porthole windows! How fun!
  • The bathroom and kitchen both feature white penny tiles, and in the bathroom, they cover the shower stall that they use multiple times a day.
  • Their countertops are butcher block painted white and then covered with epoxy.
