The Classic from Timberleaf Trailers in Grand Junction, Colorado, is a handcrafted teardrop trailer that blends old-school road-trip style with modern, rugged build quality. It weighs about 1,500 pounds dry, so many SUVs and crossovers can tow it. Inside you’ll find a queen-length bed under one of the largest skylights on any teardrop, and out back a full galley kitchen under the rear hatch.

Classic Shape, Built for Adventure

The Classic keeps the timeless teardrop silhouette, with enamel-baked aluminum siding in a range of colors and a clear anodized top. It comes with three suspension setups: Standard for highways, All-Road with bigger tires and electric brakes for dirt and forest roads, and Off-Road with a 4-inch lift, 33-inch tires, rock armor, and an articulating hitch.

A Cabin with a Big Skylight

Inside, the cabin is lined with hand-finished birch plywood over one inch of foam insulation, so it stays comfortable in cold mountain mornings and desert nights. A custom Colorado Queen mattress (the length of a standard queen, just three inches narrower) fills the space, and a huge skylight lets you fall asleep looking at the stars.

Cubbies behind the headboard, an overhead shelf, wood fold-down shelves, and cabinets above the footwell keep gear organized without crowding the bed.

A Full Galley Out Back

Lift the rear hatch and you’ll find a well-planned kitchen with sliding upper doors, a storage drawer, a stove slide-out, and an under-sink cabinet. A stainless sink with a folding faucet comes standard, with 11 or 17.5 gallons of onboard water. Options include a two-burner Partner Steel stove, a pull-out tray for a cooler or fridge, and 12-volt fridge choices.
