Tiny Tin Cabin in Pembrokshire

This is the Hidden Lovenest, a Welsh Tin Cabin in Pembrokshire that former owner, Gregory, emailed us about. Thanks!

The cottage is now a quaint and charming rental with gorgeous views of Welsh fields. Gregory said if memory serves him right, the house was 25 square meters, or 269 square feet. There’s a small kitchen, a cozy living room, and then a bedroom and bathroom. The veranda has a fun wood stove for warming by on cool nights.

Rent it (and get more information) right here.

Look at this Easter-colored kitchen. Adorable.

The red detailing is just stunning. Love the shutters, too.

All the space you need for one or two people.

A peak into the bedroom with a double bed.

Doorway to the grounds from the room.

How cute is this bathroom? I like the porthole mirror.

Teeny tiny sink! So cute.

Shower with on-demand hot water. I have one of those and LOVE it!

Now that’s a view! Love that sunset.

Stay toasty in the evenings as well.

Love the detailing on the size of the porch. Stained glass window.

Perfect spot for an evening meal.

From the front. Too cute.

This is nice. Everything is well organized and everything you need is there, plus it is a very pleasant space both indoors and out! My only complaint as a US citizen is that the commute is a killer! 😀

omg alex! i love this! what would be the cost of building one like this?

    • May 9, 2017, 6:29 pm

25 square meters would be 5 meters by 5 or 15 feet by 15 feet approx or 225 square feet.

Anyway, if you went ready made, Lowes has a nice 2 storey shed for about $5K. You could do it yourself considerably cheaper, using2x4, corrugated iron and osb.

How cool would it be to tell people, “I have to get back to the Shire?”
