This is the story of Adele Smith, a semi-retired music teacher who got rid of her townhouse and moved into a tiny house to enjoy her senior years.
She even added a covered deck with a hot tub. What do you think of this tiny house living arrangement?

It is very nice. Would love to have the deck/hot tub set up. I like the kitchen and always feel skylights are necessary in a loft. However, if you listen to what she said about her 1300 sf home then its obvious she tends to be a hoarder which I admire that she has downsized into Tiny. Because its difficult for hoarders to deal with all that. Where I am from everyone is a hoarder. I had 1300 sf myself and when I sold and was moving into a tiny I had so much to purge. Feels good. Only thing I would advise her is stop eating microwave frozen food if she wants to lose weight and grow food and eat it raw as much as possible.
Seriously? I didn’t see any request from this lovely lady for Advice regarding the “way she should be eating”? Where do you get off saying crap like that to Anyone? This is a Tiny House site….not a forum for being rude and obnoxious.
What you consider rude is just being direct and comes from a caring place actually. I admire that she downsized and I think she has great goals. Maybe you shouldn’t take things personally if they aren’t aimed at you.
Nice but a loft bed and the hot tub takes up too much porch room.
I use to own an A Liner A frame folding trailer 7’x10′ and it came stock, maybe the only one made, with a hot tub under the bed.
Hello,
I think that was an absolutely amazing Tiny House tour given by a wonderful woman with a kind-heart… a lovely-soul… & who sings & plays music beautifully. I thank her so very much for sharing her inspirational story & a portion of her fantastic life with us!
Be-Well…
Many-Belssings, 🙏😎
If it works for her (apparently it does) great. For me however, I find it to be kind of claustrophobic, there is just so much crammed in there it isn’t funny.
Loft beds are out of the question for me due to progressive mobility issues. But I do like the decent sized deck hanging off the TH. Well done there…
Ok, I give up…how does she manage those stairs? That’s the only hesitation I have about tiny homes because I cannot manage the stairs. I would prefer a “small home “ with one level.
This is the very first tiny house I’ve seen that actually looks like someone lives in it. Notice bed, kitchen has dish towel there rag etc
