Popty Welsh Vacation Property: Itty Bitty Bakehouse

This post contains affiliate links.

This is the Popty Welsh Vacation Property, an old itty bitty bakehouse that’s now a quaint and romantic holiday retreat!

It’s certainly tiny, but boasts all you need including a kitchen with a hutch and oven, a living room with a real fireplace, a tiny bathroom (not pictured), and an upstairs lofted bedroom. I can’t get over how idyllic the setting is, and who doesn’t love a stone cottage?

Enjoy the pictures and if you want, book your stay through Under the Thatch! With a special voucher code, Tiny House Talk readers get £50 off a stay in this property if you make a booking before July 31, 2017. Details below!

Here’s the itty-bitty once-bakehouse that you can stay in.

Yes that’s a real fire! Look at this super cozy living room.

The doorway to the kitchen and spiral staircase to the bedroom.

I feel like writing a novel while tucked away in this cottage.

Adorable kitchen. That hutch is so classy and historic.

Deep sink and stove/oven for making home-cooked meals.

Cozy bedroom loft with a double bed.

Quaint little teddy to greet you! So adorable.

A larger look at the property. So lush and green!

Sits on a little Welsh hillside. Love the stone!

Wow! Rolling hills and gorgeous pastureland.

From Under the Thatch:

The smallest and cutest Welsh holiday cottage in Wales, this little sweetie near Llangollen is the perfect holiday base for exploring North Wales. So romantic and a fabulous interior worthy of any magazine!

Small is beautiful, and tiny Popty Pennant is an absolute gem of a cottage – everyone who has ever stayed here has just loved it! This romantic converted bakehouse in the garden of an upland manor house (Plas Pennant) on the Chirk castle estate, is classic ‘Under the Thatch’ stuff – perfectly conserved using authentic materials and furnished with love. The restoration of this cottage has been the pet project of Cadw’s Building Inspector in North Wales, and it shows in the remarkable attention to detail (Cadw is the state body for Welsh heritage). Book this cottage and enjoy access over the beautiful gardens of the manor, great walking in the area, and visit the charming heritage towns around, of which Llangollen and Chirk are just the start. well to be truthful I would not want a vacation like this. I would like a piece of property like this with a small cabin on it but not to small. I would want to make the property into my life and vacation combined to share with a special one, my special one.
