Beckham Creek Cave Lodge isn’t cave-themed. It’s built inside an actual cave in the Arkansas Ozarks, with a natural waterfall running through the living room and rock overhead that keeps the air at a steady 65 degrees year-round. The 5,800-square-foot lodge has four bedrooms and sits on 256 private acres in Newton County, and every booking is a full-property buyout for up to eight guests.

Living Inside the Rock

The lodge calls itself the only private cave lodge in the United States. Living, dining, and kitchen spaces spread out beneath the natural rock ceiling, and the light shifts across the stone throughout the day, soft in the morning and warm and amber once the lamps come on at night. It has been featured on Netflix and HGTV and in travel magazines.

A Waterfall in the Living Room

The centerpiece is a naturally formed waterfall in the living room. Its sound runs in the background day and night, which guests say helps everyone slow down and unplug.

Four Bedrooms, Each With a Bath

There are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, so a group of up to eight can spread out comfortably. Some showers are cut right into the cave rock, and string lights glow against the stone ceilings.

256 Acres to Yourself

Because every reservation is a buyout, you get the whole property: the cave, trails, a pond, a bluff overlook, a deck, and dark skies for stargazing. There are no other guests on site. That makes it popular for anniversaries, honeymoons, family reunions, and small retreats.
