Meet Megan: She’s a CPA who works full-time with small businesses, and she lives in a Mercedes Sprinter Van named “Avo” (short for “Avocado”). She found the van on Craigslist and outfitted it with help from Heartwood Custom Vans (@heartwoodcustomvans on Instagram). The van is black on the outside and green on the inside and, it is actually her second van.
Previously she shared a van with a partner, and now that she has her own space she really made it “home,” which you can tell from all the thoughtful details. Thank you to Allison of Tiny Home Tours for the awesome video tour of Megan’s van you can enjoy below.

Megan Lives & Works Full-Time in her Avocado Sprinter Van
Because Megan works full-time as a CPA, she needed a permanent workstation in her van.
But she also wanted a fixed bed that she didn’t have to make and unmake each day.
The interior of the house is stunning, and Megan knew just what she wanted this time since this is her second van.

I really like this ! nice and simple and functional! I like the fact that the bed is permanent, no fancy fold up and down stuff that could potentially cause issues while on the road, The fixed work station is nice too! There is beauty in keeping things easy and simple. Only things I would be concerned about is safety issues , The batteries should be fine if they are sealed ones. I use a sealed lead acid one in my Dodge Truck Camper, The other is the propane tank . Ideally it should be in an enclosure and vented to the outside. Perhaps a sealed plywood box with a vent through the floor , since propane is a heavier than air gas. Of course always good practice to have the tank turned off when travelling. Other than that great set up and build!
Great input, Paul!
I always wanted to fo van living and having a Mercedes sprinter as long as there’s a bathroom I’m fine..
I saw a Sprinter the other day with a composting toilet that pulled out from under the bed.
Regular lead acid batteries will work as well if your funds are tight. You just have to vent them to the outside and check the water level periodically. You should only top off the batteries with distilled water.
You are right about that Kurt.
Great insight, Kurt.
Thank you Natalie, but I can’t take credit for the info I’ve provided. What I know about mobile living I’ve picked up by following others on YouTube who live, or have tried living, the lifestyle.
