Close your eyes and imagine living on the beautiful coastline of Pescara, Italy. Hearing the waves, smelling the salt water day after day. Now imagine that the house that you’re living in is a tiny beach house perched up high on stilts above the sand. Sound like a dream? Think again!
The amazingly built Trabocco beach house designed by studio zero85, is a simple 4.5 meter space which doubles as a living room /bedroom combo and also comes equipped with a kitchen in the back of the beautifully laid out floor plan. The inside of this beach house is beautifully designed however, the best feature of this tiny house is the exquisite timber wrap-around deck, which provides additional living and entertaining space. Set up a patio table, chairs and umbrella and you’ve got yourself a perfect space to enjoy with your friends and family.
The ocean view alone is enough to sweep you away into a dreamland, but imagining yourself sitting on that perched deck with your favorite glass of vino (or other beverage) in your hand is enough to get you giddy with joy. We applaud studio zero85 for the stellar work they’ve done on this beautiful tiny beach home.

This would make a great summer vacation cottage but I think it’s a little too minimalist for everyday living. Great view of the beach and ocean.

Love the place, great for a vacation home. One correction – there is no ocean in Italy. There are only seas – Adriatic Sea, Ionian Sea and Tyrrhenian Sea which all are connected with Mediterranean Sea.
Nothing minimalist about the setting or view . . .
a interesting place- took me a minute of looking at the photo’s to realize what all is going on. I actually wonder what bath they might have. You can see sailboat mast behind the building. so you would have a nice view even on the backside/dining area of the porches. you would get a nice crossbreeze from the front patio door out the back patio door. on the back the handrail being solid gives you some privacy and I think would give you a place out of the wind.
being on stilts might protect from the water- but I think it actually gives you more privacy if the beach is crowded. If its a day cabin- you might only have a public bathroom shared by the beach shacks/marina. I would want a more comfortable sofa.
