$9k Dodge Ram 350 Camper Van Conversion

This post contains affiliate links.

This is a 2000 Dodge Ram 350 with just 68,000 miles on it and it has recently been converted into a camper van.

It’s for sale out of Grafton, North Dakota for $9,000. It’s a 2WD van with a clean title, automatic transmission, gas engine, and was converted in 2020, according to the listing on Van Life Trader. What do you think? Is it a pretty good deal for a van in 2021? Seems like it to me so I thought I would re-share.

It was bought from a local school that had put a wheel chair lift in it.

I gutted the back, put in matt noise reducer, sound board, plywood, laminate flooring, mineral wool insulation, installed an electrical and water hookup.

I put the biggest battery (750 cold amps) into it this spring. The differential has been repaired.

I built in a twin bed with storage underneath, a cabinet and shelf.  I am almost 6′ and just have to sleep diagonally. The mattress is not included.
