This is a 5 Mars RV Dodge Caravan Camper Van Conversion. This model is called the Illusion. From the outside, it almost looks like an ordinary Dodge Caravan Minivan.
When you go inside, though, you’ll find a kitchenette, storage, and a dining table that converts into a bed. The van also features a pop-up roof so you can comfortably stand up while inside or use it as a cozy and vented sleeping loft when camping. Check it out!

From the outside the van looks pretty normal aside from the pop-top.

Going inside, it’s no ordinary minivan at all!

The interior is like a modernized VW hippie van, isn’t it?

There’s a kitchenette and all.

Everything seems to be designed and built to perfection in this little van.

The seating easily converts to sleeping quarters.

As shown below.

The well designed kitchenette makes use of every centimeter.

What do you think so far?

Looks pretty comfy to me!

I wouldn’t mind having a van like this at all. 🙂

So nice how the passenger seat swivels, too!

Looking back at it…

Okay, where did this massive table come from?

Maybe it is stored up top? Either way, it does seem useful.

Is this enough camper for you, you think?

In sleeping mode. You could, of course, sleep upstairs too.

How cool is that!!
Wow, almost unbelievable. Love it.
And if you want something from the fridge in the middle of the night? Didn ‘t see a loo either.
What a nice job!
Reminds me of the Westfalia…love this!
Very nice. Didn’t see a loo tho.
I think I would take the seats out and replace with a twin bed. also would put a composit toilet in the back with a shower attachment on the back door so that when the door opens you just need a curtain, and voila instant shower
Brilliant, Kevin!
Hi,
I am the owner of a Dodge Grand Caravan 2016 Crew
How much to transform the vehicule completely with the kit Illusion Mars 5?
thanks
Eric
When I see the word home in the description it implies all the features of a home including a bathroom or at the very least a toilet. Otherwise it’s just a camper.
I have a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan. I’m 5’7″, so I have chosen to sleep width wise between the two sliding doors. I have heard that if you sleep lengthwise you should always have your head behind the front seats as opposed to at the back gate door in case when you are parked, someone hits you from behind. Obviously, this matters more if you are stealth camping on a street as opposed to being at a campsite somewhere. Anyway, if you are sleeping that way, park so you protect your head.
Very good advice, Brian!
Not bad for a Dodge Caravan. Now is it a hybrid I can leave in READY all night with the AC on in the summer, and the heat on in the winter? That’s what I do with my Prius, and it kicks on every hour or so to recharge the drive battery. Less than half a gallon of petrol for all night heating or cooling.
They have the Pacifica Hybrid for about $70K US.
This is great! You have all you need to tour the country economically and comfortably. After all, most of the time you will be sightseeing, right? There is room for a Hassock (small and round) portable potty for midnight runs. Does it have outside hookups for electricity for use in a campground, or is there an internal power source besides the car battery because I don’t think a car battery would run all those things all night and during the day. Is that a type of AC unit over the seats on the ceiling? If not, is there a fan and ventilation of some type for sleeping? It’s pretty cool overall. I was surprised to see so many amenities in such a small car. Pretty cool!
What did you do to convert the front passenger seat to swivel?
hello
what are the dimmensions of the bed ?
