2023 Honda Odyssey Camper Build for Two

Horizon Camper Builds has just unveiled their latest “Level 3” conversion for the 2023 Honda Odyssey. Designed to fit models from 2018 to the present, this clever build transforms a standard minivan into a fully functional home on wheels for two, featuring a removable bed system and a robust off-grid power setup.

Clever Design for Maximum Utility

The heart of this Odyssey build is its modularity. The interior features a removable bed/bench system that can be configured for one or two people using two folding mattresses. Storage is abundant, with under-bed drawers, side shelving, and rear compartments that are accessible from both inside and outside the vehicle. A front storage cabinet with a sliding exterior door adds even more organization for long-term trips.

For cooking and dining, the build includes a counter extension and a side flip-up table, making the most of the limited interior space. The entire unit is finished with a beautiful Golden Oak stain and polyurethane, giving it a warm, custom feel.

Full Off-Grid Power Specs

Despite being a minivan, this conversion is packed with serious off-grid capabilities. It features a 200-watt aluminum solar panel mounted to a 48×60 roof basket, paired with a 200 AH lithium battery and a 2000-watt pure sine inverter. A smart isolator ensures the battery stays charged while the engine is running, and the system includes both AC and DC outlets to power everything from the 30-quart fridge to the clip-on LED lighting.
