Wow, that’s huge! Looks tiny on the outside, though. I like it. Now I could live in that!
I love it. -It is perfect for meeeee
Same! This appears to be a VERY livable small house. Bravo to the architect/designer and crafts-folk that built it. Stephan of Arkansas
Alas, not for me… I have bad knees. But I really, really like it. Alas, alack, alay…
really like this one but unable to find information on this particular unit! Tried their website and everything there is smaller
Hmmm! Maybe try and email them? They have a contact form on the site.
tried their site – no info on this model
It’s there, but the one on the website has the porch on the side rather than on the end, like this one.
This is perfect!
Home………..WOW, that is what I call a real home………perfect for my dog and me!
Such a cozy spot for sure!
Simply beautiful, perfect for me
I love it – it’s perfect!
So glad 🙂
I love this! The only thing I would change would be putting in a window over the kitchen sink.
Ooh that’d be lovely.
It’s great! For me, I would want stairs (even pull down stairs) to the loft. I could do without that ladder/shelf unit.
Stairs are always great!
That was my first thought as well. I think I would want stairs with shelving that accessed from the side rather than the front, or a closet under the stairs. I think it would make more sense to put it along the side rather than right in the middle of the room, and shift the ventilation to the middle. Other than that, this was a nice layout and more of what I could see my family in rather than a THOW. Was there a washer/dryer anywhere?
Absolutely lovely! Very well done.
I like the stairway. It’s probably for kids or younger people upstairs and they can climb this type easily going down belly down the stairs walking backwards which comes easily to children and young adults or fit and trim younger adults. The bottom bedroom is for the adults who are older and need to be close to the bathroom. Kids would love that loft as they are in a world of their own. Nicely done and good use of materials. The bottom bedroom windows could be spaced to fit what size bed would be going in the space.
Yes kids really love lofts!
Where can we get the information eg cost and other pertinent info about this particular house? So interested.
This is my dream home with a window over the kitchen sink.
This is great! It looks huge….
I love this. I couldn’t get up in the loft much, if at all, but I could have a guest or store stuff.
I’d give the dining room table a miss, and put a desk there.
Pity the bathroom isn’t on an outside wall, because my cardinal rule is that a bathroom has to have a window. Could perhaps be moved there.
Bathroom and kitchen do have one exterior wall each, only the wall between the kitchen and bathroom is interior, there’s just no windows there for this layout. So, if you add a window, it would just have to be on the same wall as the shower. While you can eliminate an upper cabinet in the kitchen to place a window over the sink.
I love the Kanga floor plans and have been familiar with them for some time now.
I checked their site because I was impressed with what seemed to be an extremely tasteful and ingenious mod to the floorplan.
However, I now think there’s been a mistake. The layout for this house mimics, exactly, one of the plans for the 16×40 cottages, not the 16×34.

Regardless, It is a beautifully appointed home. The owner must have a real eye for interior design. Its just lovely.
Thanks for showing this to us.
