I am thinking about purchasing a Tiny House. I am 76 and a retired nurse and down sizing. This would be perfect. My daughter has bought a house with some acreage and they want me to put it on their land. The Tiny House would be perfect. I was looking on line to find information on Tiny Houses. I was telling my granddaughter about it and she and my daughter wants me to put it there so I will be close to them.

I like the idea for the footrest/bed extension. The floorplan shows a queen bed but the photo does not appear to have a bed that large nor the ‘walk around’ space shown in the plan. Will there be more storage for the kitchen to handle food items? Bare essentials only can be stored in the narrow cupboard. The ‘living’ area or sitting area is high. Will he be able to sit comfortably up there? I could see adding a bit more length and skipping the loft sitting area and still be comfortable for a man his size.
The loft is only for their kids… Bedroom for parents… This was made for a family of 4…
The exterior basketball hoop is also height adjustable…
Since the owner is a professional basketball player this arrangement was so his family can travel with him as his job takes him to different cities.
They probably have a home base and support vehicles for all their storage needs as they travel…
The bed extension needs to be at the end where his head will be, that way his feet can get under the blanket and the sheets. Since his head would likely be on a pillow, he would not be bothered about the difference between the extension’s upholstery and the mattress’ upholstery.
