This unique home started as two shipping containers–20′ and 40′. We insulated and paneled the interior in pine shiplap and trimmed it out in 100+ year old barnwood. The outside is clad with cedar siding with spacing to allow the original container to still be seen. Entry is through the original container doors or a side entry with a standard door. We removed the steel panels from the doors and replaced them with picturesque full glass. The fun rooftop deck is surrounded by a custom cable railing system and lit with LED lights under the rail that gives the deck a beautiful glow at night. The deck and upstairs bedroom is accessed by an exterior spiral stairway.

That external spiral staircase is just totall KEWL!!!!!
Yes I do agree. Internal stair is very important to access at night downstairs. It will be perfect design if this one item is considered.
I like the simplicity and ergonomic.
Love this design! I’ve always been a “container” fan. Just one question….is there an inside stairway to the bedroom?
Nope…
It says two bedroom, and I can see a bathroom upstairs but the lower bath wasn’t shown. Is there one?
Otherwise one would need to go outside, up the stairs, through someone else’s bedroom to the bathroom. YIKES!
Yes, there’s 2 bathrooms…
Layout for 1st main level is entrance > living room > kitchen > dining area > bathroom/hallway > bedroom… Then layout for 2nd level is entrance > small sitting area > bed > bathroom…
Scrolling from top, the 1st set of bed and bathroom photos are for the first level and the next set down is for the upper 2nd level… Note the main level bedroom has a wall with the Mini-Split wall unit above it and the 2nd level only has a partial wall partition wall that works as a headboard and offers some shelving storage on the opposite side… The sliding barn door for the bathrooms are on the right side for the main level and on the left for the 2nd level one… The 1st level bathroom is also along the left wall and the 2nd level bathroom is against the back wall…
Hope that helps visualize the layout…
It’s an elevator. Put each foot in double sink and sczhaammm!
Stunning! Love the inside and the outside.
How much did this cost to build?
Love the concept but not even practical without stairs INSIDE!
its lovely though I have to say I dont like the fact there is no way to get to the upstairs bedroom but to go outside. Very impractical especially during extreme weather of any sort, to hot or to cold.
I love the design of this home
Great idea! I would have to have an indoor stairway and curtains on the bedroom door for privacy! Otherwise, it’s really neat and spacious for a tiny home.
Absolutely lovely. I just don’t like that you can only access the bedroom from outside. Bummer in cold or rainy weather.
I will like to know what is the price on a house like this. I love it by the way!!
I’ve been looking at this exact model and would also like a price. I’m downsizing in the near future and love this as my new home!
