Off-Grid Tree House Near Ottawa
Inside it’s just about as woodsy as it is outside. That’s the beauty of cabins and tree houses!
Even when you’re inside, you feel like you are out in nature.
Completely off the grid.
This tree house is entirely off-grid!
There is an outdoor shower and a composting toilet nearby that guests have access to. No bathroom up here.
The tree house is built 9 feet off the ground.
The front door is accented with tree bark.
Nearby fire pit to keep you warm and cozy outside, and there’s a wood burning stove inside, too.
There is no electricity, but there are battery-powered lights you can use in the cabin. And yes, there’s a large pond that the tree house overlooks.

Did a grand job on design. This is a real cabin, not a square box with white walls in the woods., and calling it a cabin. Love how they incorporated the outside with the inside. Although I don’t like being up in the air, this is well done and purposeful. Love everything about it. Good job. I would stay there, and I could live in a cabin like that fulltime, but would prefer to be on the ground.
Wow, sure is nice and well placed. Not far from where I live. Very interesting.
