Huge windows are great for a small space.
However, for strong winds sliding windows aren’t the way to go because it’s hard to get them 100% watertight and rattle free g when the wind gets stronger. Outward opening ones would be my choice because the wind is pushing them into the frame and not out of it.
Beside that blinds between the glass for privacy when needed are necessary. The FL hurricane season requires external shutters for glass protection.
As always, I don’t like lofts and their added overall height.
The width height ratio is disturbing me and leads to more efforts when it comes to wind resistance.
