She’s off in her stealth camper van conversion with her two scotties!🐶

This is the story of Gretchen’s stealth camper van conversion. She bought a van, moved in with her two Scotties (named Flanagan and Campbell), and then eventually had it insulated and converted by purchasing a kit from a company in Colorado that specializes in van conversions! So here’s how it all went down.

I (and my two scotties, Flanagan and Campbell) set off from Seattle to Colorado Springs in mid-October to have the kit installed at Wayfarer vans.

She camped w/ her two pups in the cold, uninsulated van, so she could get to Colorado Springs…

We camped the entire way in a very cold, uninsulated van…mattress on the floor. Stopped in Whitefish, Montana, at the Little Big Horn, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and then south to Colorado Springs.

Once there, Wayfarer vans would insulate and turn her van into a true camper van!😍🙏

In an hour Ian, and his great crew, had my insulated ceiling, floor, and walls in as well as the sleeping bench, cooking bench, storage bench and flip down table. By mid day I was headed into the Rockies and westward toward home. The insulation makes it warm and cozy and the sleeping bench is comfy.

Wayfarer sells and installs van kits. You can check them out right here.

Love my little camper. Photo below is me and the dogs tucked in for the night in Steamboat Springs.
