WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME!!! HOUSE FOR ALL PEOPLE EVERY SHAPE, EVERY SIZE, EVERY ABILITY, AND EVERY DISABILITY. WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY WELCOME TOO!!! SMALL HOME COMMUNITIES FOR THE HOMELESS TO BEGIN A NEW LIFE AND START OVER. IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME IN COMING, BUT WE CAN GET IT DONE.
I am in the process of locating land to build a tiny (actually 800sf) container home and workshop. I design and make custom live edge slab wood and painted wood furniture and am planning to begin making unique, multifunctional tiny home furniture/built-ins, i.e. Murphy beds, fold up desks, etc. I am building this with my son, his friend and a couple of my middle age single women friends to make our housing expenses management whole creating a sense of a tiny community to look after one another and help with the build them celebrate together. There are a couple tiny home communities near us but the homes start at$100k and the lot rent are $450-550/mo. That seems to defy the primary reason to build a tiny home in my opinion. Well see when I’m done how affordable mine turns out to be but my goal is $35k, with an upgrade next year to add solar for another $9k.
That was supposed to say to make our housing expenses manageable, while creating a sense of community. Autocorrect hijacked my intended meaning again! So sorry!
