This mom planned and built an amazing two-bedroom tiny house for her and her teen daughter. The two lived in it for three years before the single mom married her partner and they purchased a fixer-upper together.
Now, she’s selling the plans to her awesome home so others in situations like hers can enjoy it, too! She designed the space with two private bedroom lofts, complete with staircases, closets, and DOORS. Brilliant.
The galley kitchen and large bathroom also have plenty of room for a little family. You can purchase plans here.

Soooo cute! The master bedroom is perfect! Don’t need handrails since the walls are right there. The door is great for privacy. And the storage in the kitchen in the ceiling…ingenious 🥰. Being able to stand in the BR and not having to crawl to the bed. The only thing I am not crazy about is the bathroom downstairs since I am not a fan of stairs, but only negative that I have!!!
I remember this from an earlier post – one of the few loft homes that I liked, seems like a real home.
Yes they did such a nice job giving each person her own space.
I loved this one when Bryce showed it. The people were very at home there. It looked so comfortable and lived in. When I looked at this today I thought, Hey, I’ve seen this something exactly like this, but different. Little did I know… LOL
Lovely home. I see they’re not selling it, only the plans. Ah well, I would be hard-pressed to sell it, too. Really wonderful tiny.
Love Lyn
This home is awesome and this lady is badass doing all of the work herself. What an inspiration. There are so many features that I will keep in mind when I start working on mine. I’m older with bad vision and will need a first floor bedroom for those middle of the night jaunts to the bathroom (lol), however, a large loft like her daughter’s would work great for my crafting space. Great job!
I am younger and still need a first floor bedroom for those bathroom trips LOL
Hah! I need a bathroom on all floors. Damned strokes!!!
What a fantastic home. I love that you fit in rocks and curiosities and records and books and two barrister bookcases and make it look so comfortable. Lovely! Thanks for sharing!
