Confessions: I think yurts are the coolest alternative dwelling option, and this yurt on stilts in Montana may be one of the most fantastic yurts I’ve seen!
While the yurt itself is lovely inside and out, it’s the giant wrap-around, two-level porch with a grill and fire pit that really make this place special.

Yurt Getaway with Wrap-Around Porch in Montana
The yurt interior comes to 855 square feet.
Look at that starry sky at night! Wow.
Here’s the covered entrance to the yurt.
The cozy living room.
Some of the windows do slide open for a good breeze.
Dining area with a door leading to one of the bedrooms.
Amazing kitchen with gorgeous rustic wood cabinetry.
There’s even a dishwasher — no hand-washing dishes on vacation! Woohoo.
The upper vent opens as well.

The sliding barn door leads to the bathroom.
On the other side of the yurt is the second bedroom.
The bathroom has a flush toilet and stacked washer & dryer.
Look at the stunning tile work in the shower.
One last view of the great bathroom.
Now this is a place to grill! The yurt sits on a working farm.
Yes, I could drink my cup of coffee here every day.

Hi Joe — this is a vacation rental so I’m afraid there aren’t plans to purchase.
Beautiful, with all the room you need. Plus a dishwasher, which is a must have for me in any house. I love how the builder made this into a home & makes you forget that it is a yurt. So wonderful with the outdoor space. The views ae breathtaking. I love it…A dishwasher, woohoo!!!????.
