This is the story of Shelby and Rooster and how they turned a 2006 Heartland Bighorn RV (a 5th wheel travel trailer) into their very own affordable Bohemian-style Tiny Home on Wheels. But let me tell you, living in small spaces in nothing new for them because shorty after they married in 2015, they lived on a boat and have been living tiny ever since.
Rooster is in the military and Shelby is an online ESL teacher. So the tiny house on wheels lifestyle works great for them. See how they transformed their RV into a beautiful tiny home below. Have you ever considered renovating an RV instead of building or buying a tiny house on wheels?

Living in small spaces is nothing new for them because shortly after they married in 2015, they lived on a boat and have been living tiny ever since.

I think you’ll find it pretty awesome how you can turn an ordinary RV to look and feel like this inside…

And since this RV has slide-outs, it’s quite spacious inside compared to many THOWs without this feature.

Classic RV-style kitchen. By the way, this is a fifth-wheel travel trailer.

Nice refrigerator 🙂

Cheers!

Custom curtains, hanging space for the surfboard, and that couch looks really cozy doesn’t it?

What do you think?

The custom curtains add a really nice touch.

Since it’s a fifth wheel, the bedroom is slightly elevated, but there’s still plenty of room to stand.

Nice lighting!

Back to the living space…

There’s even desk space.

Isn’t it amazing how they turned a travel trailer into a Bohemian cottage on wheels?

wth ? you said this was a big Horn motor home? it sure looks like a 5th wheel ??? show more of the coach next time to prove its a motor coach.
Correction: it is a 5th wheel. Sorry about the confusion Timothy. Thanks for pointing it out.
What a wonderful little home. And home it is. Beautiful, beachy boho style.
The dog and the fridge were the best things about it, although a bed that’s not in a loft is always a good thing.
Agreed! Nice when you don’t have to climb.
LOVE IT!!!
It’s fantastic!
Very sweet couple. Good for them, love everything they have done. I would totally live like this.. Good luck to your starting your family!
Same!
Love it, beautiful homey environment!
Where did you find all of your curtains? I love the bamboo rod look and the airy curtains. I’m remodeling my camper and having a hard time finding curtains like these!
I was wondering what you used on your walls? It looks like real shiplap, and I want to do our headboard with the shiplap look, but can’t use real wood.
Hi Vicki, is the wood too heavy, or are you allergic?
Beautiful. We bought a 2018 cedar creek, I want to renovate it so bad, but am afraid I’ll mess up..
You can do it! Watch YouTube like it’s your job 🙂
Absolutely gorgeous. I’m not a fan of pull outs, but this is lovely.
Really cute and cozy. Fivers have so much room! Although that’s a lot of stuff to put away/secure before you can hit the road. That would drive me nuts but I don’t live in mine. If I did I’d want all the tchotchkes too to make it home.
where did you get your little leather sofa
