Before there were Sprinter builds and solar-powered vans, there was the Volkswagen Westfalia. This 1976 Campmobile in Henderson, Nevada is the Berlin Deluxe layout in sage green, a late bay window bus with a fresh round of Westfalia parts shipped from Europe. It is being sold on behalf of a friend for $35,999, with a clean Nevada title.

Factory Westfalia Camper, Refreshed
The Westfalia interior pairs a bench seat that folds into a bed with wood cabinets along the side, plus a cushioned platform over the rear engine. The seller lists new Westfalia green door cards, a new three-piece green carpet set, a full set of new curtains, re-covered front seats in factory Westfalia plaid, and new plaid upholstery on the bed and rear mattress. The wood cabinets and original front table and pole are still there.

Kitchen and Living Space
The Westfalia cabinet holds a small sink and a two-burner stove under a lid. A new late-style Westfalia folding table sets up in front of the bench for meals or cards. The front seats are covered in matching plaid.

New Pop-Top Canvas
The pop-top has a new canvas with three window openings, shipped from Europe. Raised, it gives standing room in the middle of the bus and access to the upper bunk, so two people can sleep below and one or two up top.

Mechanical Work
The seller lists a rebuilt factory fuel-injected 2.0-liter engine with receipts, new Fox rear shocks and Bilstein front shocks, new whitewall tires, a new windshield, new side markers, and a Sony Bluetooth stereo with USB charging. The listing also says the bus is very solid underneath with zero rust. The seller included close-up photos of the underside, so you can judge for yourself before a viewing.

What It Costs
- Asking price: $35,999, down from $36,500 when we first saw it (listing checked October 24, 2026).
- Ownership: classic insurance is often affordable for a vintage camper, but parts and specialist labor for air-cooled VWs add up.
Before You Buy
- Have an air-cooled VW specialist do a compression test and inspect the fuel injection system.
- Check the floor pans, battery tray, and rocker panels for rust and old repairs.
- Ask to see the engine rebuild receipts and the title, which the seller says is clean and in the owner’s name.
- The listing is posted by a friend of the owner. Contact the seller through the listing and see the bus in person before paying.
