Oliver Travel Trailers has been hand-building fiberglass campers in Hohenwald, Tennessee, for years, and the 2027 Legacy Elite II is its most popular model. It’s a 24-foot twin-axle trailer with a molded double-hull fiberglass shell, built to handle everything from sub-zero nights to triple-digit summer days. It sleeps three, seats seven, and is sold with simple no-haggle pricing.

A Double-Hull Shell Built for Four Seasons

What sets an Oliver apart is the shell. Every trailer is made from two fiberglass hulls bonded together, with a radiant barrier and an air gap between them, so the insulation is built right into the structure. Add enclosed holding tanks, dual-pane windows, and a ducted propane furnace and air conditioning as standard, and you have a camper meant for year-round use.

Inside the Legacy Elite II

Inside, the molded fiberglass interior is bright and easy to clean. The Legacy Elite II comes in two floor plans; the one shown has twin beds at the back, a galley with a sink and cooktop, and seating up front. With 6’6″ of headroom, there’s room to stand comfortably.

It’s built for nights far from town, whether that’s an alpine lake or a dark-sky campsite under the Milky Way.

Four Ways to Build It

The Legacy Elite II comes in four trims, from Standard up to Premium, and they differ mainly in their power systems. The battery, solar, and inverter are what separate them, and you can pick a king bed or twin beds in any of them. Oliver also builds the Apex X23, which shares the same 24-foot hull but adds a 48-volt EcoFlow power system, mud-grip tires, heavy-duty suspension, and a black trim package.

Before You Buy

  • Pick power to match your camping: the Standard suits campgrounds with hookups, while boondockers will want at least the Premium trim.
  • See one in person: Oliver builds at its factory in Hohenwald, Tennessee, and offers in-person viewings, which is worth doing before committing to a floor plan.
