This has a nice feel. I don’t see a cooktop or oven. Even adding a microwave would detract from the sleek look of the kitchen, so it would have been better if they’d integrated one to start with. I love how they used the old dresser (or is that a chifforobe?).
He calls it a dresser in the video but the middle part is hanging space like a chifforobe would have…
They typically include a induction cook top that’s integrated into the counter top with touch interface.
Some newer induction cook top models offer a detachable control knob that uses magnets to lock it in place and easily removable when done.
There’s also one that can be built into the counter top that uses a overhead projector to show its functions but looks like regular counter top when off.
For microwave, a microwave drawer can be clad to look just like another drawer to let it blend it… Easier to do if you have a quartz counter top…
There are also some higher end options if you go directly to manufacturers of high end kitchens as they can make you a complete stealth kitchen that is either integrated or hidden.
For lower cost option, you can just have panels covering the cookware that come off when ready to cook but put back to hide everything when done.
Like many people just carve out a custom butcher block to cover the sink, etc…. Providing additional prep space, as well as cleaner overall look…
Awesome conversion.
Am I the only one who can’t figure out where the bedroom is?
From what I can see, I think it’s where the couch is. Under the Deer Painting. Really great Tiny Home.
Thanks Jenn!
It’s a very clever location for a murphy bed.
Stunning use of space for 20ft.
Thanks Jenn!
Where do i go to look to find these for sale. What’s the price? Does someone drive it to my land. What if I want 2 so to make my house wider. Have lots of questions on shoestring budget, where do I turn first. Also could i build a basement under one for protection from tornadoes?
