This weekend we shared our favorite tiny houses on wheels featured on Tiny House Talk in 2016. But what were your favorites?
I sifted through our website stats and found what THOWs had the most page views to create our “Most Popular THOWs of 2016” list. Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean these are the homes you liked the most, but I’d love to know — which one of these is your favorite?

Top 10 Most Popular Tiny Houses on Wheels of 2016

1. Loft Edition by Mint Tiny Homes

This tiny features wonderful dark wood floors, white walls and exposed beams in the kitchen. I love the office space, bar with a huge picture window and the giant double sink for doing dishes in style. See more.
2. Kim Lewis’ 380 Sq. Ft. Double THOW

Kim’s tiny house is almost cheating because it’s actually two THOWs stuck together! It makes for an absolutely incredible design with a ground-floor bedroom, luxurious closet and spacious living area. See more.
3. Alpha Tiny House by New Frontier Tiny Homes

I would have undoubtedly included this in our “favorite” list if it hadn’t also been on yours. The Alpha is stunning and loaded with features. From the hanging lights to the plants to the breathtaking decor, there’s nothing about this build I don’t love. See more.
4. The Black Pearl by Nomad Tiny Homes

The Black Pearl’s virtue lies in its simplicity. The details are simple and understated, but the windows are perfect for claustrophobic folks and lovers of the sun. See more.
5. Emily’s Little Sunshine by Trekker Trailers

Another simple but stunning home, Emily’s THOW has dark floors and white walls with brilliant pops of sunshine yellow. Personally I loved that there was loft storage for hanging clothes. See more.
6. ESCAPE Vista Tiny House on Wheels

I know many of you loved this one because you told me so when I failed to include it in Alex and I’s top ten. 🙂 The Vista is a stunning model with no burdensome loft, plenty of brilliant storage solutions and fantastic large windows. See more.
7. Luke and Tina’s Mountaineer Tiny Home

I love this off-grid home because it’s designed with this couple’s interests and passions in mind. Plus, the woodworking details and amount of storage is extremely impressive, and who wouldn’t want to lounge on that rooftop deck? See more.
8. Handcrafted Movement Tiny House on Wheels

Although not quite as dazzling as it’s 2017 counterpart, Handcrafted Movement made a splash last year with this tiny home. Besides being beautiful, it has oodles of storage, plenty of light, and the fully-functional kitchen is great for home-cooked meals. See more.
9. MoonDragon Tiny House by Zyl Vardos

It’s no wonder a Zyl Vardos creation made it on this list. This home has a totally different feel from many of Zyl’s builds, and the loft bedroom with those huge closets is an incredible feature. See more.
10. Family of 5’s THOW by Nomad Tiny Homes

Fifth-wheel trailers offer all kinds of possibilities, and Nomad Tiny Homes really delivered with this family’s build. The “kids’ loft” has bunk beds! In my opinion, though, the bright yellow SMEG is the crowning glory of this tiny. See more.
So tell us, which one did you like the most?

Love your list Natalie. Sidenote, is it really “Alex and I’s top ten”? I would have thought it’s “Alex’ and my top ten” or “our top ten” or “mine and Alex’ top ten”.
You are correct David, should have been “Alex and my” — Funny how you got it drilled into you to say “and I,” but more often than not that leads to grammatical mistakes! I’ll go fix it 🙂
Great list!!! And I LOVE Zyl Vardos designs, though that Moon Dragon looked a little wide to me. I checked the website and it is NINE feet wide. I only bring this up because I know many people will be saying they like that model ‘best’ because it LOOKS bigger. And I am here to tell you it IS bigger, and not towable without permits, etc, — which is no worries and wonderful/fine, but it means that choosing this model requires special consideration that the others don’t. (I am assuming, based on just my eyesight, that the others are all 8’6″ wide.)
— Should I be concerned (or proud) that I can tell, at a glance, in a photo, that a tiny house is wider than 8’6″? :o)
Haha after looking at many of them you do get an eye for it 🙂
Escape is my favorite, I love the windows, clean white pine walls and open shelf cabinets, and built in captains day bed w/ under bed draws, and pop up TV….! If ever I am able to find a spot to call my own, it will be the house of my choice… OH, and I love the frosted glass bathroom door….!
That’s an excellent choice 🙂
I think so… I like the simple clean design, no overly fluff or cheeky little niche’s that the builder thought he would add to bring the price up.. Just simple clean lines, lots of natural light from big picture windows… Stainless steel appliances, and large induction cook-top, with stainless vent, fan, and lighted hood…

Some good choices, but for me, the nicest is the Wanderlust, based on the Linden model. I still wonder why more designers don’t use that roof style, full width headroom and a really cool dormer at the other end.
Ah yes! A really good one, Joe.
Ack! Where’s that little house from Scotland, with the stairs wound around the little stove and the movable furniture? I was sure that would be on the list.
It’s technically not on wheels! It was the FIRST one I put on our “favorite” list but Alex reminded me that if we were going to do THOWs only (to try and compare apples to apples) it couldn’t be included. He was right!
It’s so cool. I wishes it.
