Anderjack Box Bungalow Tiny House Plans
The Anderjack is one of Tumbleweed Houses’ designs in the Box Bungalow category, created during the early days of the modern tiny house movement.
This design was created by Jay Shafer, a pioneer of the tiny house movement who lived in small spaces since 1997. Shafer founded Tumbleweed Tiny House Company before later starting Four Lights Tiny House Company.
Jay Shafer and the Tiny House Movement
Jay Shafer helped bring tiny houses into the mainstream, not because he was the first person to live simply, but because he successfully shared his ideas with the world through his designs, workshops, and publications.
His book, The Small House Book, explores loopholes in minimum size housing building codes that can allow tiny homes in various jurisdictions. It also shares his story, research, and several of his designs in full color.
