Roberta’s Tiny Tranquil Cabin in Costa Rica

This is Roberta’s beautiful tiny cabin in San Isidro de El General, Costa Rica which is available on Airbnb.

It’s a private little cabin on stilts with beautiful views of the Quebradas river.

Cabina de Tranquilidad in Costa Rica


The cabin is built on a raised platform of metal framing, and enclosed with 1/4″ wood siding, with a corrugated steel roof.  The footprint is 20′ x 12′, with an added loft bedroom.  It has a covered deck which extends out from the kitchen, and overlooks the Quebradas River that flows in front of the cabin, and my house.

      Hi Cosy,
      The pic was taken inside the house and what looks like a paper plane flying by (lol) is probably the roof overhang. I’m thinking the way or angle of the pic cut off the full view of the overhang. I was wondering the same thing too! LOL
