Anthony’s conversion cost him $1,500 CAD.
He did the build himself and used a lot of reclaimed and reused items to keep his costs low.
Anthony installed a roof vent, a floor, bed, kitchen cabinet, overhead storage, and a reclaimed wood ceiling.
He spent only $1,500 CAD to turn the van into a tiny home!

His kitchen setup is really simple: he’s got a small countertop, a propane camping stove, and a jerry can for water.
For showers and bathrooms, he has a membership to a local chain of fitness centers.
Super simple camping style kitchen and no plumbing makes it possible to convert a van very affordably!

He’s been living in his van full-time for over 18 months so far and is spending his second winter in Florida (he spent the first winter in California) to avoid the cold Canadian climate.
He earns money from playing shows in Canada, and from busking, and on average he says his monthly expenses are between $1,000-$1,400 CAD.

He’s so adorable!! And SO FREE…..what an inspiration to all #vanlife people!!! I’m super jealous….. #Goals 😍🤩
Cool. man!
It’s a bed in the back of a van. No bathroom facility, no kitchen other than some camp gear thrown in. Calling it a tiny house is a stretch.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about #vanlife and good for him doing his thing. Just a misleading headline/link…
