I read Lloyd Kahn’s book shelter so many times I wore out the covers. It was the ultimate honor when Lloyd contacted me and asked to include my solar cabin in his book Tiny Homes- Simple Shelter. His book pictures were a major inspiration to me and other unique home designers and he helped to bring these unique homes into our lives.

I think Lloyd could have been a little more positive to the guy who asked about container homes, rather than just “I don’t like them” and “Who wants to live in a metal box?” That works both ways, who wants to live in a wooden box? The answer to both questions is “Plenty of people”.
But very interesting vid all the same, it’s good to hear what people have to say about these things and living in the bush as I do I seldom get to talk to people for real.
That reminds me, I downloaded the sample of “Tiny Homes…” a while back, it looked great but I forgot to buy it. Will do so soon.

Yeah I thought that was kind of funny but I don’t blame him for being honest. I had fun watching/listening to the discussions.
