Dustin Mori had a love for coffee drinking and roasting, and wanted to start a family business — why not ship a retired double-decker bus from the United Kingdom and transform it into a mobile coffee shop? His wife, Angie, wasn’t keen on coffee, but she was convinced, and they opened their doors in 2018!
After the success of Double Decker Espresso, they had the idea to get another double-decker bus and transform it into an Airbnb on their beautiful land in Idaho. The “Hideaway” has a cozy pub-like feel on the first level, and the second level is a beautiful English cottage bedroom, bathroom, and seating area.

Details:
We are so excited to welcome you to Double Decker Hideaway, located at Double Acres in Caldwell, Idaho. This vintage bus, delivered all the way from England, has been transformed into a guest retreat that will leave you feeling as though you stepped abroad for a refreshing vacation. We have all the comforts taken care of. Full kitchen, full bath and private bedroom all with views! Walking paths for miles, private parking.
Enter our downstairs “pub” and enjoy meal times inside at the table or in the back lounge area. Two burner cooktop, toaster oven with several functions, outside grill, large farm sink with all necessary items for cooking are yours to use or not! Several nice restaurant options within 15 minutes. Snuggle by the electric fireplace while enjoying outside farm views. Head upstairs to the English cottage for a tucked away feel in inspiration corner. Perfect for reading, conversations or writing! This area also doubles as sleeping for two, one on the day bed and one on the floor with tufted cushion.
The light and spacious bathroom (considering) offers an always hot shower with the tankless hot water heater and flushing toilet. The master bedroom offers a Tuft and Needle mattress with two different pillow options for comfort. Mini fan for white noise is provided with charging outlets next to the bed. Ceiling has been insulated with real wool, helping you count sheep in no time! Guests over 5’10” will have to duck a bit while walking around upstairs. Plenty of sitting spaces, even in the shower! The bus is located on two acres with our home sharing the space. There is plenty of room for privacy and space with NO neighbors! We live 20 seconds from Interstate 84, making travel anywhere in the valley very easy. You may or may not hear our rooster call you to all the possibilities of a new day. We do own and operate Double Decker Espresso- making the best coffee drinks around. If the bus is here during your stay you are welcome to order special drinks (can’t guarantee it will be here at a certain time)! We do have a family at home and still live life! You might see or hear some of us from time to time. You are welcome to enjoy the grass field and chicken coop area!
