It’s the detail that makes the upper level read as a second storey rather than two crawl spaces at opposite ends of a trailer.

What the Walkway Actually Changes
- Connected lofts behave like a floor. Two lofts joined by a walkway can serve as bedroom plus office or guest space, instead of one bed and one storage attic.
