Dan’s very first project on his property was his “Mancave.” He never dreamed that someone would want to stay in it, but when a friend recommended he put it on Airbnb, it became a popular destination.
That’s when Dan started getting creative: He built a mini-village inside an airplane hangar, and then constructed a yurt, and then went on to build the TREEHOUSE yurt, which includes an elevator, hot tub and resident Alpacas for you to meet and greet.
He’s currently constructing Woodstock, where you can stay in a vintage VW bus and play music on his stage. You have to watch the interview with Tiny House Giant Journey to “meet” the wonderful Dan and his vacation world.

Very creative.
This is one talented, creative man. He is the epitome of ….we are NEVER too old to keep building on our dreams. Aside from that, he is bringing joy to others while having fun himself. Each unit is unique and commendable. Keep up the good work. Brenda
I just love that after all those years doing the same work, he found a new passion! Life isn´t over until it´s over!
I am eagerly anticipating his creations during his next sixty years!

This looks like such a fun place to go. I love all the creativity he has used in his creation.
My wife and I stayed in “Danville” (Geneva, FL) several years back when it contained the main house, the yurt and the Man Cave. We stayed in the main house which is an airplane hanger amazingly converted into a “village” out front (incl. a working tavern). The main house itself is huge and a wonderful formal home with its own movie theater to boot with an abundance of DVDs and even an operating popcorn machine. The other accommodations are equally unique and we look forward to returning to experience the treehouse and new Woodstock and to revisit Dan’s alpacas. It is truly amazing that just Dan, and his son(s), planned and built the various unique accommodations all by themselves. They are extraordinary. On top of all of this, Dan himself is very welcoming, loves to speak with and get to know his guests and is just a very real and sincere person. Do yourself a favor and make it a point to visit Danville. you will experience a very unique place..about 30-40 minutes from Orlando.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience at Danville! It sounds truly amazing.
