  1. For those who are gonna ask: Model shown here is their cheapest and the base price is $125,000 (decks extra). Company is located in WA state, so there might be a hefty shipping fee anywhere away from the west coast. This one seems to be modified from the original floor plan – yes, follow the links to see the floor plans! There also seems to be a stairway rather than a ladder to access the loft, so that will be good news to a lot of people.

  2. Being older and less sure footed I am a fan of park models. This is really nice with all of the sleeping areas for friends and family. Thanks for sharing Alex.

  3. It is very nice and has lot of room. But at this time my hope is to some day own an old school bus changed into a tiny house that moves on it’s own.

  4. This is THE coolest, most wonderful tiny home I have EVER seen. It out-cools any house I have ever seen, big or tiny. Please let me know when you can deliver this to my home. Most excellent!!!

  6. For form, function, and inclusiveness, I applaud the ramp entrance. Any home, tiny or gigantic, is improved by meeting universal design standards. Some of my friends have limited mobility, and I don’t want to live in a home they can’t enter. Lots of boomers might chose tiny homes if they had ramps, Murphy or pull-out beds (instead of or in addition to lofts), wheel chair turning space, etc. Even those in the prime of life can suddenly find themselves on crutches. Designing a tiny home is difficult from the outset. Why not go all out by trying to meet standards for universal design as well?

  7. I am trying to figure out with as small as these homes are, I’d think that one bathroom is enough. Just where in the world would a 2nd bathroom fit in something like this?

When you’re going tiny, go tiny all the way. ONE bathroom is enough.

    🙂

  8. This is absolutely beautiful. I could very happily and comfortably live in that home. The problem is that because tiny homes have caught on, they are gradually getting away from being affordable for those of us who would have bought one because it’s the only home we could ever afford to call our own.

  9. I agree with Leslie. I’m not knocking these homes because they are all great but on a lot of factors, these too are slipping away from the majority of people. Let’s face, financing these homes is still pretty much in it’s infancy, and most of us regardless of age don’t have a spare hundred grand or so sitting around. Would be nice if builders did have more variety for the lower end market.

  10. I agree with Leslie. The tiny home I still like best was only $50,000 and that more where I see it as a senior. We got rid of those monster homes for tiny homes, why bring the price tag?

  11. I like the clever use of pocket doors to give privacy to the breakfast nook/Murphy Bedroom when the bed’s set up, while leaving the ground floor much more open and spacious-looking when no one’s sleeping there. The dual-purpose coffee/dinner table is also clever. Convertible and multiple-use furniture and spaces aren’t seen enough in Tiny House designs.

  12. Wow!! Really love all the features to this tiny home which the way it is set up a doesn’t look that tiny!! Such beautiful furnishings!! Love all the woodwork. I love how you have a choice you can have a Murphy bed by night and a dining room during the day. Pretty cool set up. Love the bathroom, awesome shower doors and nice shelving in there fits perfectly. Great kitchen and love the bedroom up in the loft area! Nicely done! Thank you for sharing!! Carol Perry

  13. I AM PARAPLEGIC WITH ONE HAND. WE NEED AN ADA TWO BEDROOM, ONE BATH WITH SHOWER AND A BENCH, LIVING, DINING, KITCHEN WITH SMALL APPLIANCES, FRONT PORCH WITH FRENCH DOORS, RAMP ON TO PORCH.
ESTIMATED COST FOR HOUSE AND DELIVERED TO GAINSVILLE, GEORGIA.

  14. Io Yajnian, you really thought you could buy this house for around
50 K ..? Well if you ever have a house of this caliber, and style, you just go ahead and slap that sticker price on that house and I’ll buy it and anymore you may build or manufacture….! Because if you honestly believe that you can buy this home for that price, you have to be a dozen eggs short of a carton…

  15. I bought my Park Model home for under $50,000. here in Texas. I was able to customize it the way I wanted it. Best decision I ever made was to by a Tiny House.

      1. Let’s have a look at that material list, then calculate a fair profit for the contractor, then we’ll see is greed is a factor. Inflated values have always been a problem, hence the tiny house idea in the first place. I’ve thought this site was about affordable living, but as always the heavy weights have to get in to clean out the babyboomers retirement account. Sad

  16. Unless this home can be purchased with lake-front property for the listed price, then it’s outrageous. I’m enthused with the tiny home movement; however, if I’m going to live in something only as large as some people’s garages, it better be affordable!

  17. Beauuuuuuutiful!

PS. It’s not called ‘greed’ it’s called profit! There would be no THOWs (or anything else for that matter) without PROFIT!!!!
