With a full bathroom and kitchen this tiny vintage camper is perfect for a tiny house vacation in Oakland, CA. The caravan is a 1964 Kenskill camper that was originally used as a food truck to deliver cupcakes and other treats in Arizona.
The owners have rearranged the interior and completely renovated it. Now it’s a great spot to vacation especially if you have ever been curious about living tiny. This would be a great way to try it out.
Inside the camper caravan as you go in the front door to your right is the bed/couch, the kitchen is directly in front of you and to the left is a small dining area with the bathroom at the very end of the unit.
All the details in this camper are awesome. I love the cupcake curtains. If you are interested in vacationing in this vinatge caravan check it out on Airbnb.

My heart loves this!!!! I absolutely love when people give new life to old travel trailers. And mixing the old with new brings on a new design vibe that’s got a personality all its own!
This looks like the perfect setting for a children’s TV show. Such a carefree vibe.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the colorful retro look! I’d love to do this!
Way too busy. Makes my eyes go crazy!
I love it, but am disappointed that it’s only a rental. More excited by people living full time tiny!
Ok, now this is screaming my name! I so love it when people attach their own personalities. The colors are fantastic, what fun.
This is really cute. Functional and bright, with sufficient feeling of space, I could imagine vacationing is it but I’m not so sure I could live with the colours on a more full time basis. If I were living in it, I would have to change something. In trying to work out what, I think I would change the black and white floor and back splash tiles to a monotone and keep the rest of the colour. Oh and the outside pink fringe!
Yeah, the trailer is not bad, but the paint scheme makes me want to set a spray paint can in it, with a candle under it, and wait for it to explode.
So darn cute and functional! I can’t believe they have a full sized stove in there! Decorations inside and out are so great and clever!! Home sweet home!!!
Um, “Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dream-CAMPER”? LOL! There was a tune out in the 1940’s (and available on http://www.YouTube.com) entitled “Zoot Suit”, in which one of the lyrics proclaims: “Here comes my walkin’ rainbow!” Well, guess this would be “Here comes my towed-along rainbow!” LOVE IT! Many HAPPY (and SAFE!) “Smiles Per Gallon” on your “Happy Trails” Pardner! ;-D Greg
Those colors are wild, not necessarily my taste but somehow I like it.
People are really getting creative with their Air BnB offerings, what fun.
I am looking for a tiny house community near Charleston or Savanna.
Anyone know of any?
Me too! I need to be more in the Charleston/Summerville area though.
I love it! The colors are fun and fantastic! It is very well organized and functional yet fun and happy. Great redo! Thanks for sharing it wih us!
What a wonderful and fun looking home!!
I love the retro look and colors!!Adorable. Looks comfy too.
LOVE all the colors! LOVE the ‘inclusive’ feel I got while looking at these pics! *HOWEVER*, 1 iddy biddy change, Switch the oven/stove with the sinke. (The thought of sleeping next to a stove would NOT be peaceful. PLUS imagine all the grease splatter that would accumulate on the bedding. NASTY!- ) Otherwize, LOVE ‘n YES I WOULD LIVE IN THIS! 🙂
That thought came immediately to mind when I saw the stove next to the bed. Besides the fact that grease and food spatters could dirty up the bedding, I don’t feel it’s safe. Having a stove so close to flammable materials is asking for trouble, IMO. Other than that, I LOVE this camper!
Now that comment explaining your concerns about the stove being next to the bed makes much more sense rather than simply being concerned that a hot pot might drop on you. Sorry, but it does.
Just lovely! Like Trina, I have reservations about the stove being next to the bed, but otherwise so very pretty. We may get a small caravan for extra accomodation in France and I would love to decorate it in a similar retro fashion.
What a fun and colorful place!!
Oh that is very colorful. I would make mine almost like this. I love the blues beachy look colors for me. But this size of vintage space I love it or would love to have one.
PS— that leedle bitty door between the sink and stove? Cutting boardz and probably sink/stove.covers, to add counter work areas.
Great living space for the warmer climates.
Cute in an Austin Powers way.
I have one question that just brewing inside me. Why does everyone think that these people’s homes and work is about them? I’m am sick to death with all these self-centered comments. It’s not all about you! If the person is happy with their home, be happy for them. People work very hard to make to restore or build these tiny homes!
Would you ever consider selling it?if so,for how much?
Well put Porcsha! I thought I was hitting to reply to your comment but apparently it meant to Report a comment…Sorry.
I totally agree with you that too many people post naggy comments regarding other peoples hard work.
Even on the units I really don’t care for I see many good things about them.
Regarding the comment that worried about the stove being too close to the bed.
Simply use a splatter guard on the end to keep from splattering the bedding. That AND some common sense.
This is a cool looking layout and nice unit!
I would be interested in hearing from anyone having a similar trailer for sale. I love everything about this one…size, colors, bath, configuration, textiles.
