As we have been here and considered an overnight or week end, there is one thing about Cedar Key that is a must….You have to LOVE Mosquitoes in the evening….Or do not go outside….Trust me, being from Alaska I know a few things about them and these buggers are hungry as anything next to White Sox….But the cabin, as well as the night life there is extra special and we regret not booking a week end. The little shrimp shack down the street is high up on our list of places to revisit. You can rent a little skiff and have a great time puttering about and making friends with the Pelicans. They have spent a LOT of time restoring and preserving a property that is everything you imagine when you hear the word”Keys”.
This looks beautiful and even perfect for every day living.
Cute cabin. I would stay there, if I weren’t so nervous about mosquitos……..and alligators!!😣😁
