I’m excited to introduce you to this tiny house whose owners have named it the Love Shack. It’s a king-sized bed on a trailer and is disguised as a tiny house.
I received an email from Napalm Dragon and I know I don’t normally do this but I would like to share it with you.

Hello there,
In August, my wife and I built our art project called “The Love Shack”
We left British Columbia on September 12, and have been on an
adventure ever since.
In a nut shell, we intended to build a Tear Drop Trailer, then joked
that it would be cool if it looked like a little shack.
2.5 weeks later, we had a Love Shack and hit the road.

It’s a very comfortable king sized bed disguised as a house.
Cozy, Warm, Insulated, Double Paned Windows.
We love it, and are now considering transforming a micro-bus into a
mobile wooden house.

The Termite Taxi and the Love Shack Tiny House aka King Sized Bed on a Trailer
Napalm, thank you so much for emailing in, I’m so glad that you did and we’re all very excited to see you transform a micro-bus into a tiny house on wheels.
What do you think about this as custom alternative to a teardrop trailer or a vardo caravan? What do you like/dislike about it?

Excellent, very interesting.
I just learned that 49 million Americans are now living in poverty; and. The elderly population has an increase due to rising medical costs, they, too, are finding themselves living in poverty, as per former President Bill Clinton on a C-Span TV this month. Former Prez Clinton said that the USA has the highest diabetes in the world. Ouch!!!

The Pew Center on the States report, released Monday, says the number of people on probation or parole nearly doubled to more than 5 million between 1982 and 2007. Including jail and prison inmates, the total population of the U.S. corrections system now exceeds 7.3 million — one of every 31 U.S. adults, it said.
Excellent. I loved viewing this.

Time to start putting murderers down…..costs a whole lot less than keeping in prison and quite frankly they give up the right to breath when they take someone elses right to breath away.
actually Lil, the high prisoner rate (higher than that of the old ussr or china) is due to the failed war on drugs and state guaranteed occupancy rates for privatised prisons … it costs more to execute a person than to incarcerate for life … (death penalty.org) – but how about that ‘love shack’ and ‘termite taxi’ combo?
oops, sorry about the duplication.
It actually costs many times greater to have a death row inmate and execute him than it costs to have the same inmate serve life without parole.
Couple that with the corruption in the justice system, and how many people serve time and get executed for crimes they didn’t commit, and executions don’t seem like such a great idea anymore. It actually costs tax payers more to execute inmates…just thought that should be reiterated.
I don’t see what any of this has to do with the “love shack” though.
Those statistics are deceiving. The additional cost does NOT come from executing the criminal, it comes from the years and years of litigation costs associated with the appeals from the anti-death-penalty crowd.
Please send more information about the tiny cottages. I want my own love shack!!!!
They are blessed with the a ability to have fun, so I salute them . . . HOWEVER, I have to have a bath.
I’m with Karen. I need my amenities that a THOW provides and a shower is right up there at the top of the list. This might be fun for a while but it’s not sustainable like a THOW.
