The collection of ten seaside tiny homes surrounds a main home and a graceful courtyard. Stylish design elements balance with vintage architecture and thoughtful amenities in a relaxing, one of a kind setting. The Main House and select cottages are open all year, too!
The Main House offers guests a fully equipped kitchen and lounge for cooking & socializing. The Main House’s second floor also offers a pair of bedrooms and bathroom that can be shared or booked individually Our lushly landscaped courtyard provides a tranquil setting for grilling, sunning, or just relaxing around an open fire after an exhilarating day exploring the area.
SummerHouse is a 40 minute ferry ride from NYC on Seastreak Ferry, or an easy trip by train to Red Bank or bus to Highlands. Our oasis is 5 minutes from Sandy Hook beaches, superior kite boarding, and hiking and mountain bike trails.
Reservation options include renting the entire compound for your group or family event, rent select cottages for a week a month or a season, or take advantage of our daily rates for the spontaneous traveler. The main house and courtyard are also available separately. Perfect for art shows, lectures, outside yoga classes, wedding party dinners or breakfasts, or whatever idea we can help you to create.
Enjoy walkable local dining options, or access the varied nightlife and scenic attractions of nearby Asbury Park, Red Bank and Long Branch.
All cottages accommodate two guests and feature queen beds including full bed, bath and beach linens, front porches, open floor showers, microwaves, mini fridges, smartTV,’s and Fios WiFi. In addition, all cottages have use of grill, fire pit and courtyard
