Does the dog come with it when you rent the place? Seriously, great looking place.
Beautiful home! Lovely, relaxing color scheme and I really like the unusual round chimney too. Thank you for sharing it.
Oh, does this bring back memories! My husband and I have stayed at many a place identical to this in Scotland when we go back home. Our stays have been at a bit more rustic-themed interiors but the layout and outside are identical.
The ?teak? kitchen cabinets put me in mind of the ‘poshest of posh’ homes I saw as a wee girl: VERY modern 1950’s home that to a farm girl was utter Futuristic in concept. I coveted that kitchen in that home for many a decade!
Enchanting! I tried to find the prices but there were too many hoops to jump through to find them. Charming, nonetheless.
19th century outside, but 21st century inside.
I will give it a 10!
Cornwall is our favorite part of the UK, but rarely visited by Americans. This gorgeous home should help lure tourists to the beautiful West Country!
Cornwall is definitely on my must see list.
That is a beautiful home. Not a tiny home by ang means! Probably worth $200,000+ in Cornwall .
Charming interior.
Well, I’m ready to move…
Great find Alex one of the best you have featured.
Always love the pictures but also want to see some type of floor plan drawings for each house. Even the most basic would be great! Any chance of adding these in the future or at least a link?
I enjoy your newsletter very much! Thanks
Hi,
I LOVE this house. Does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to build something like this in The southeast or Midwest of USA?
I could easily live in this little house – How much does it cost to build one of these?
Is it there any way to get a floorplan of this home? Anyone know what it would cost to build a home like this in the southeast usa?
An absolutely beautiful cottage with elegant, clean design. I could certainly see myself in a cottage such as this. A wonderful share. Thanks so much!
I love this house. I wish there were homes like this for sale.
This stone cottage is a rental. In the States, our rentals are much the same…staged with basic items for ‘housekeeping’ on a temp. base.
This does seem homey though and if that dog was there, who needs anyone else? (Ha ha)
It looks like you are going to walk in to small, dark spaces, but instead you find it light and open. Love it!
Outside wonderful, inside NEVER! The interior is terrible. Sorry. For me, the soul of this house is dead.
I agree Johanna! The outside and inside don’t go together. The interior is nice but not right for this adorable house. The outside is magical.
How perfect is that!
What a lovely stone cottage “Inglenook” is. The price to construct something similar here would depend on finding the right stone mason who works for a reasonable wage. Good masons are sometimes hard to find. If you have a lot of rock on your property and you have the patience to learn it yourself, it could be the cheapest locally available building material to use. The slate flooring inside is also well done. Kudos!
Wow! Just great! Thanks.
Love it 🙂
If you had cut my vain’s, and pure platinum flowed from the cuts, this would be the kind of house I would own….! It is pure luxury at it’s best, and it exudes that in every direction you cast your eye if you are a true aficionado of English fine craftsmanship …!
