A winner has been selected for Deek‘s Humble Homes, Simple Shacks book giveaway.
It was great reading all of your comments and suggestions.
So I made a video that tells it all. Including how I picked the winner.
You can watch it right here below. Don’t worry–we’ll have giveaways like this more often.
Thank you for participating and a big thanks to Derek over at RelaxShacks.com.
If you want to pre-order a copy of his new triple-caffeinated expanded edition you can get it at Amazon.

Alex, thank you. Please tell Deek thanks for me. You have a great site! Someday I plan to have my tiny house. Maybe a Spartan!
Thanks Lori, I’ll tell him!
Am designing my own shelters on wheels (bicyle). Currently am working on a class C style camper/velomobile, on a tadpole trike. Last year I came up with a gypsy style quadracycle, that I call The Human Powered Electrical Assisted Vardo (HPEA Vardo for short). On napkins I have sketches of two delta trike camper designs, that I have yet to work into possible designs ~ 1 am calling The Vagabond and ~ 2 am calling The Odyssey Schooner, this one will have a dual axle.
Thomas that sounds awesome, can you take a picture of the napkin and send it to me? I’d love to see what you’re doing. My email is tinyhousetalk@gmail.com.
Am asking Santa for a digital camera this year, so we will see if I can start to post some pics.. Also asking Santa for an electric welder (a buzz box) that way maybe I will get the camera … LOL.
Haha, thanks for the update, Thomas, really looking forward to being able to see what you’re doing!
