This is the story behind the now famous and magical Fortune Cookie Tiny House on Wheels built by Abel Zyl for one of his very first tiny house clients.
It all started at a coffee shop with a sketch of the design to which Abel’s client immediately accepted. Towards the end of the video tour, Abel even shows you how he designed and built this tiny house too! It’s a really great video and I think you’ll enjoy it a lot.
See the rest (kitchen, full bathroom, living area, etc.) in the video below:

Abel Zyl is a freakin’ Wood Whisperer and a darn nice guy. Everything he has built is so classy and cozy.
I met him at a Tiny House Festival and I hope someday to hire him to build my dream Tiny.
Wow, thanks. You are all so kind.
Thanks for popping in Abel!
When do you know what the right thing is? Maybe when you like others, what you do and also to yourself…. A gesture or a work of Harmoniouse Love…
If I was ever in the market for a tiny house Abel would be my choice. GMH you are right, he is the Wood Whisperer. Beautiful, functional and whimsical. What more do you need?!
The Wood Whisperer, I love it!
Alex, I can’t take credit for “wood whisperer”. That came from GMHs post above – the first comment. I wish I had because it’s true! 😀
this comment section could really use some thumbs up/down functionality! i’d like to a add two thumbs up for Abel’s creations!
Thumbs up/down feature sounds cool! I’ll look into that – thanks!
