At Jan Klaassen Dromenland in Braamt, in the eastern Netherlands, families can spend the night in a UFO. The UFO Spaceship is a saucer-shaped cabin on the grounds of the Het Land van Jan Klaassen amusement park, with a kid-sized cockpit, bunk beds lit up like a galaxy, and room for up to eight people. It’s built for a family adventure, and park entry and breakfast are included with every stay.

A Flying Saucer on the Park Grounds
From the outside, the UFO is impossible to miss: a round, faceted body in bronze and lime green, topped with a wide red-rimmed roof. From above, you can see how it sits among the park’s other overnight cabins.

The adventure starts at the front door, painted like a rocket hatch with a cartoon astronaut blasting off.

A Spaceship Interior Made for Kids
Inside, the space theme is everywhere. Murals of planets and astronauts cover the walls, the floors are warm wood, and timber posts divide the round cabin into areas for sleeping, lounging, and washing up.

The highlight for kids is the cockpit, a little play area with padded seats and a friendly green alien keeping watch. It’s where young astronauts can head off on their own pretend mission to space.

Room for Eight
The UFO sleeps up to eight with a double bed, two sets of bunk beds, and a two-person sofa bed. The bunks glow with colorful party lights, which will probably make bedtime a little harder.

The sofa bed sits under a big astronaut mural, doubling as a lounge spot during the day.

Look up and there’s a skylight in the center of the roof, perfect for spotting stars at night.

A Private Bathroom
The UFO has its own private toilet and shower, with marble-look walls and a vintage wooden vanity topped by a stone vessel sink. There’s a refrigerator, kettle, and dishes, but no cooking facilities, so plan on the included breakfast buffet and the park’s restaurants for meals.
