I guess, you can’t live anywhere without paying something to someone! Because you can’t buy your own land for that purpose.
Even with your own land, you have to pay taxes, I’m afraid.
Why aren’t there any property owners who are willing to rent a spot for TH owners up here in Northern Ontario Canada?
Rosee, I think the best thing to do, when you don’t have your own land or that of friends’/family’s at your disposal, is to network as much as you can. You need to get the word out that you are a responsible person looking for a small space to put your tiny home. Northern Ontario must be full of acreages and there must be one owner who would love to have you. I’ll have to do the same thing soon and I’m counting on my small town’s lack of regulation enforcement, as well as the fact that there are several acreages around, to find a good spot. Good luck fellow Canadian.
Thanks Wendy, for the info. Sure will do the networking. Good luck to you too!
I wish I could find something around here, but as Florida is the second fastest growing state in the US, lots here are no-longer easy to find …!
That is quite the bummer!
I would be interested in this but too pricey for the location. You can live in Portland in your THOW for what you are asking. Something closer to $350-400 would be more in line with the location.
Food for thought…nothing more nothing less.
